Quality and environmental
For its ground service activities, Iberia Airport Services has developed an integrated System for the Quality and Environmental Management certified according to the International Rules ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.
Our ground handling services at the Spanish airports fully comply with the Commission Regulation (EC) No 859/2008 of 20 August 2008 EU-OPS1.
In order to keep its certificates UNE-EN-ISO 9001 and UNE-EN-ISO 14001 granted by AENOR (Normalization and Certification Spanish Association) Iberia Airport Services is annually audited by this organization. Furthermore each airports is audited by external auditors and by customers:
Iberia Airport Services is ISAGO –IATA Safety for Ground Operations– certified.
The certification by the International Air Transport Association is the highest recognition of the quality of the safety programme. It is already implemented by Iberia Airport Service, at:
- Headquarters, & Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD/LEMD)
- Bilbao (BIO/LEBB)
- Ibiza (IBZ/LEIB)
- Málaga (AGP/LEMG)
- Palma de Mallorca (PMI/LEPA)
- Tenerife South (TFS/GCTS)
and refers to the handling of passengers, luggage, freight, and aircraft movements on the ground, as well as back office.
